By the Way 2002. A live and acoustic version of By the Way from 2002. Its a lot slower than the original.
oh wow, i didnt know his usual talking voice is as mesmerizing as his singing voice. There is something about him generally that attracts me a lot..
Never gets old :-) it’s been what, 20 years?

This is a treasure of an upload. RIP Chris Arduser 😥
p2p nostalgia
L'époque actuelle te déprimerait au plus haut point mais putain qu'est que tu nous manques Buckley !
God, I forgot how much I love him.
Music is exposure of feelings into sincerity entwined into everlasting effect on the mind in emotional frequencies, your music taste is your body of your emotional image being projected onto time, hence why your mind ages with it, nostalgia is literally a mental prison from keeping youth relevant in the now (eternal youth), music decorates time and the by product of that is nostalgia and time itself is a prison from living eternal youth, time doesn’t exist when you’re happy, love is the truest measurement of existence
I saw the Psychodots a couple of times in Lexington and was always blown away by them. They were at peace with being a bar band but compared to what was out at the time, they should have had a much bigger fan base.
One of the most talented and iconic musicians of all time. What a tragedy his death was 🥹 we don't see musicians like Jeff Buckley anymore.
5:24 love you i love you theres a diffrence between thouse 2
This puts me back into the 80s Luckily I saw them in Kansas City, I think after the second album came out. not sure. but it was as fantastic show.
Absolute angel
Cherub. Every song he sings is pure soul., a prayer holy holy holy!
I discovered this song on Napster and instantly became a fan of Mark Cole's. He's a monster guitar player who has played in professional cover bands. He's ridiculously versatile in his repertoire of playing styles. This is a song that's beautiful and melodic and just stays in your head for years.
I-
Cherub
I also found this by accident back in the Napster days...have absolutely loved it since first listening to it!! Awesome to find it again
FI N A L L Y i found it!! i thought all the while that this is JImi's...pastilan!
I think this is one of the best filmed and recorded musical performances of all time. The Psychodots (Raisins) used to come to my town every 6-weeks or so in the late 80's/early 90's. I was in a band named after a Bears song and we used to open for them. They eventually started saying that the song was named after us (so nice!). We were just dumb kids and these guys were musical gods come down from Mt. Olympus (or Cinci, anyways). And they always played in a bar so small that if 50 people showed up it was shoulder to shoulder. I tell everybody - Arduser is the greatest rock drummer (or one of the greatest), Nyswonger is the best bass player (he's right up there with anybody you can name), Belew and Fetters are the greatest guitar players. They are just great musicians and songwriters, all of them. I hate that we're all getting old and all we have now are memories and a few albums and very few live videos that are any good.
Great post. Did you hear the sad news that Chris died a few months ago? My brother Tom was an original member of The Raisins.
So utterly sincere
When I hear him speak about the corporate fiction of media not being able to really feed you life, I can't help but equate that sentiment to social media now. Personally, I feel the same about today's media, it feels like a false sense of connection, of life, pushed on us with all kinds of agendas driving its dissemination. Life seems to me, much richer with those around you, experiencing live music, just experiencing life as you and the world.
I first heard this about 19 years ago and i thnk i heard and saw somebody else play this stevefromboston i think.
The best band you never heard of. Man - I wish they would reunite.
SWEET! I love The Bears!
How many guitar players found this on Limewire back in the day? 😏
Is that a Johnson Marquee or Millennium I see??
I've been listening to this song for 17 years and it's always worth it.
who is mark cole ? i know this song at the 2010 jaja and idk who is mark cole ;-;
Perfect combination of pop sensibilities and avant-garde guitar chops. Wish there were documents of their live shows out there.
When Jeff speaks in an English accent he sounds uncannily like Jools Holland 🤔
Kind of an XTC with Eno treated guitars.
They have some of the same angular melodies and creative use of dissonance that Andy Partridge favored. Plus both bands were influenced by the Beatles obviously.
Never gets old.
God what an incredible performance. It’s hard to believe that those howls at the end belong to the same voice that sings the gentle opening. A total transformation. And all completely live…
Vin røv!
awesome, Mark 👍
I'm just another guy from the "accidentally downloaded the song in some random p2p 2000's software". Gotta tell, this is one of the most beautiful instrumental compositions I ever heard.
Lo amo♥️ es mi presentación favorita de Jeff
You know with him I just never know what’s happening… I’ll never know what happened 💔 he just takes my broken heart and fixes it and shatters it again into million pieces at the end
Jeff Buckley and Lana del Rey resembles eachother so much 😍
except vocally
2:42 mmm!
